Inspired by the nests of the Japu - a bird native to the Mantiqueira Mountains - the Japu lamp evokes the organic and delicate shape of these suspended structures, which resemble elongated drops hanging from the treetops. Made from intertwined dry branches, the japu nest combine lightness and ingenuity, qualities we aimed to translate into this piece.

The lamp was specially developed for the 2023 World Cheese Championship exhibition, blending nature, craftsmanship, and design into an object that celebrates the subtle beauty of the Mantiqueira region. Its sculptural form and soft light create a warm and quiet atmosphere - like a nest sheltered in the forest.
