Located in the heart of Vila Madalena, São Paulo’s most artistic neighborhood, Empório Belmiro is a space that combines a gourmet emporium and café, celebrating the flavors and knowledge of Brazil’s countryside. Most of the products sold and used in recipes come directly from the client’s own farms in Minas Gerais, ensuring authenticity and traceability in every ingredient.

The architectural design was conceived to reflect this fusion of technique and art, with a special focus on light. A skylight allows soft, direct afternoon light to enter, shining onto an organic sculpted wooden ceiling, creating a contemplative and welcoming atmosphere. Curved forms throughout the space enhance this fluid, three-dimensional feeling, avoiding sharp corners and encouraging a natural play of light and shadow.

Shelving follows these curved lines and was designed to showcase the best products from Brazil’s interior - cheeses, wines, olive oils, coffees, and other regional treasures. The environment is further enriched by illustrated posters featuring images of the farms, inviting visitors to discover the origins of the products and experience the essence of rural producers.

On the upper floor, there is a showroom for automation and audiovisual technology. For this reason, the space is equipped with cutting-edge audio and LED technology, providing a complete sensory experience that connects countryside and city, tradition and innovation.
